Backpack Pals Ministry
The Backpack Pals Program serves kids who are on free or reduced lunch at Leaksville-Spray Elementary that would benefit from extra food for the weekend. Unlike other backpack feeding programs, we attempt to fill our backpacks with food that will feed the entire family over the weekend. Teachers and guidance counselor pick kids who are at risk.
Currently the Leaksville United Methodist Congregation
is serving 6 families. In the near future we will be adding more children.
Contact Angela Shumate at firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
